The hotel let me come and use my hotel room reservation (the two hours left of it) at a reduced fee. I just had the most wonderful shower of my life. I seriously don't think I have ever wanted to take a shower so bad in all my life.
The flight wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Especially the longest leg of it. But that was largely due to the awesome company I had. Kat & fam, I had a blast meeting you all and I hope you have a wonderful trip to Greece!
I was dead tired on the flight from Amsterdam to Aberdeen. I got a 15 minute power nap on it though...i haven't slept other than that. Honestly I thought I was going to die of sleepiness on the flight, and then as we got closer to Aberdeen the scenery got me all excited:
I literally saw a castle in the middle of the countryside from above in the plane. It was awesome.
So now I am going to power through until 3 p.m. when I can check in at the Northlink Ferries and start my journey over to Shetland!
